I love your blankets that you make…when I was pregnant..I was hospitalized..and the nurses taught me how to crochet granny squares…so I made some blakies for my daughter…who is 2 months old now…but I absolutely love the pattern on this!! I could never learn that lol…looks too complicated…but I just love it.. :)

  2. I believe that anything is possible when we set our minds to it and are determined enough to make it happen. I dare ya to try because you will figure out it’s not as hard as it looks. :) Michael

  4. You are using a DC skip 4 SC and what size hook. How do you start it off how big of a chain to start off with & do you start off with 1/2 pinwheel or sc 7 x’s. do you think using different shades of yellow would like good have grand daughter that wonts an afghan done in just yellow different shades I eally like this patern and you do a awsome job on it I think it would work up quickly. thank you for posting this on youtube.

  5. I’m using a 7mm Hook. Each line has 162 stitches. Start off with a half pinwheel or half sc 7. I think the yellow combination would look pretty awesome. Make sure you use 3 colours because the affect won’t be as noticeable. The 3rd colour makes the pattern alternate in a really random looking way.

I hope it works out for you! :)

  6. Can you tell me where to get the pattern, or is it one of your own and can(or will) you send it to me. I would really like to do this pattern for her. by the way I’m Selene from Ga.

  7. Wow-thank you. Yours are the clearest and best explained crochet videos. Well done. I know this is not advanced as what you are doing (judging by your beautiful blue and yellow shell blanket), but would you please do a granny square tutorial with different colors like you’ve done the other tutorials (so well that a beginner could follow it).

  8. Okay I will see what I can do for ya. Yeah you are right though, I am no expert by any means. :) I just have the desire to try my best and explain it the way that is easiest to follow.

Thanks for your insight today, made my day!

  9. I will show you in a couple days. My camera is being used by a friend for a couple days. :) Michael

  10. Amazing toturial!! :)
But I have one question, though:
If i’ll do the same pattern in an amigrumi style, do you think it’ll look ok?
cause, what I was thinking was that, instead of “going back” the rows, i could just change the colours of the yarn and keep on crocheting in a circle. Do you know what I mean?

  11. You know what.. your idea sounds amazing… Send me a pic when you are done it..I would be glad to show the fans the work that you have put together… I think the sky is the limit for crochet ideas!
